- Topical anti-inflammatory for mucous membranes, hemorrhoids and
skin irritations
- Mild sleep aid
- Indigestion
Mode of Action
- Contains the volatile oils bisabolol, bisabololoxides A
and B and matricin which have active anti-inflammatory and
antispasmodic action
Drug Interactions
Cautions
- May cause dermatitis (skin rash) in allergic individuals, particularly those sensitive to ragweed
- Very high doses may cause miscarriage
Recommended Dose
- Tea: 1-2 cups daily. Capsule: 1-2
capsules once a day. (Dose may vary from brand to brand)
