Mode of Action
- Estrogen-like action but
does not produce endometrial thickening nor increase the risk of breast cancer (estrogen
is the primary female hormone)
- Luteinizing hormone suppression
(another female hormone that controls
the menstrual cycle)

- Occasional stomach pains
- Avoid in pregnancy and breast feeding
