Mode of Action
- Contains volatile oils, especially menthol,
menthone, esters and terpenes
- Antispasmodic in the intestines
- Stimulates the flow of bile from the
gall bladder
- External analgesic (pain-killer)
Drug Interactions
Cautions
- Do not give to children under 5 years
of age
- Do not apply to the nose area of
small children as it may lead to respiratory arrest
- Avoid in cases of hiatal hernia
Recommended Dose
- 30-100 mg once a day. (Dose may vary from brand to brand)
