Ingredients
- Calcium (citrate) 125 mg., Magnesium
(oxide) 125 mg., Zinc (citrate) 10 mg., Vitamin D 100 I.U.

Cautions
- An extremely high intake of calcium in
conjunction with a high intake of vitamin D can induce hypercalcemia.
- Excessive intake of magnesium can result in
diarrhea and decreased calcium absorption. Magnesium toxicity can be a
problem in those with kidney failure.
- Zinc can be toxic in doses higher than
2 grams a day. symptoms of toxicity include gastrointestinal irritation
and vomiting. If any allergenic reactions occur, consult your physician
before continuing use of this product.
Recommended Dose
- Take two capsules daily with water, or as
directed by a health professional.

Mode of Action
- Calcium is required for nerve
transmission and regulation of the heart beat.
- Magnesium is an essential part
of the production and transfer of energy for protein synthesis and
contraction of muscles
- Magnesium is also required for
proper nerve function, activation of most of the vitamin B-complex
vitamins, and synthesis of many compounds
- Zinc functions in more
enzymatic reactions
- Zinc is necessary for normal
cell division and function. In rapidly growing tissues, zinc deficiency
will retard the synthesis of DNA, RNA, and protein.
- Zinc works synergistically
with vitamin A and essential fatty acids in many bodily functions.
- Vitamin D is required for
calcium absorption and utilization
